Receptionist / Administrative Assistant required for a Boutique Accounting Firm. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an Accounting Firm. The successful candidate must be willing to invest their time into learning processes, systems and be interested in a long-term opportunity to grow.

This role, you will require you to handle reception duties and you will also provide administrative assistance to two Managing Partners, 6 Managers, and staff. You will work closely with our Senior Administrative Assistant and provide assistance on special projects as needed.

We are seeking a team player that must be able to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced environment.

Job Description


•         Covering Reception, answering phones, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, data entry, sorting mail, assisting with processing payments.


•         Maintaining the kitchen and copy room including ordering of supplies.


•         Electronic scanning of documents including electronic filing and managing our client portals.


•         Setup of new clients into our system software.


•         Assisting with our billing/invoicing process


•         Finalizing tax returns and client year-end packages.


•         E-Filing Tax returns

Requirements


•         At least three years of experience in an accounting firm


•         Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills 


•         Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook


•         Attention to detail


•         The ability to work well people from the photocopy room to the boardroom 


•         The ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to manage your time


•         Be proactive and good at multi-tasking
